B. For the Pistachio Cream:
- Pistachios – 60 grams
- White chocolate – 50 grams
- Sugar – 2 tablespoons
- Hot milk – 5-6 tablespoons
- Green food color – A few drops
- Oil or butter – 1 tablespoon
C. Additional Ingredients:
- Butter – 30 grams
- Vermicelli (Sevai) – 1 packet
Instructions:
- Preparing the Chocolate Cake:
- Sift together flour, baking powder, cocoa powder, and salt.
- Beat egg whites until foamy. Add icing sugar, chocolate essence, and butter, then beat again.
- Gradually fold in the flour mixture. Mix gently and add milk.
- Pour the batter into a baking mold and bake at 180°C for 40 minutes.
- Preparing the Pistachio Cream:
- Lightly toast the pistachios and remove the green outer layer.
- Blend all the ingredients together to form a smooth paste.
- Preparing the Kunafa Layer:
- Melt butter in a pan and fry the vermicelli until golden brown.
- Mix the toasted vermicelli with the prepared pistachio cream.
- Assembling the Cake:
- Spread the kunafa mixture evenly over the baked chocolate cake.
- Decorate as desired and serve.
