এপ্রিল ১৬, সিএমজি বাংলা ডেস্ক: চীনের ভূ-দৃশ্য খাতে আন্তর্জাতিক পরিমণ্ডলে প্রভাবশালী ও সর্বোচ্চমানের এক আয়োজনের নাম ‘গার্ডেন এক্সপো’। ১৯৯৭ সালে এক ফুলেল প্রদর্শনী দিয়ে যার সূচনা, তা আজ এক বৃহৎ পরিসরে সমন্বিত-বাস্তুতন্ত্র পুনরুদ্ধার, নগরের নবায়ন আর সাংস্কৃতিক ঐতিহ্যে পরিণত হয়েছে। এবার আনকোরা এক চেহারায় শুরু হয়েছে চায়না ইন্টারন্যাশনাল গার্ডেন এক্সপোর ১৫তম আসর।
এ বছরের মেলায় সবুজায়ন ও নিম্নমাত্রার কার্বন প্রযুক্তির আনয়ন একে তাৎপর্যমণ্ডিত করে তুলেছে। শহর-প্রকৃতিকে নতুন করে সাজাতে সহ-নির্মাতা হিসেবে নাগরিকদের আমন্ত্রণ জানানোর পাশাপাশি মেলায় জনগণের অংশগ্রহণের ওপর বিশেষ গুরুত্বারোপ করা হয়েছে।
পরিবেশের ক্ষমতায়ন, সংস্কৃতির পুনরুজ্জীবন, শিল্পোন্নয়ন এবং আন্তর্জাতিক সংলাপ- এই চারটি মূলভাবের ওপর ভিত্তি করে ছয় শতাধিক আয়োজনের বিশাল এক অনুষ্ঠানসূচি প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে। পর্যটন, প্রতিদিনের যাপিত জীবন আর প্রযুক্তির মিশেলে ভিন্নমাত্রার অবয়ব পেয়েছে মেলাটি।
গত ১৪ ফেব্রুয়ারি থেকে এ মেলার পরীক্ষামূলক কার্যক্রম শুরু হয়। তখন থেকে মূল ভেন্যু ওয়েনচৌ গার্ডেন এক্সপো পার্কেই ২.১৮ মিলিয়ন মানুষের আনাগোনা ঘটেছে, যেখানে গড়ে ৪০ হাজার মানুষ ঢুঁ মেরেছেন প্রতিদিন।
মেলার প্রথম দিনটিতেই মুক্তি দেওয়া হয় ‘ওয়েনচৌ ডিক্লারেশন’, যার মাধ্যমে জনমানব-বান্ধব শহুরে উন্নয়ন, পরিবেশগত সুরক্ষা ও মানুষের জন্য আধুনিক শহর গড়ে তুলতে চীনা পন্থা উদ্ভাবনের লক্ষ্যে সহযোগিতার দ্বার উন্মোচন করা হয়।

The 15th China International Garden Expo opened on Wednesday in Wenzhou, east China’s Zhejiang Province, showcasing the country’s commitment to green urban transformation.

As the highest-level and most influential international event in China’s landscaping sector, the garden expo has since its 1997 inception evolved from a floral display into a comprehensive platform integrating ecological restoration, urban renewal and cultural heritage.
This year’s expo, notably, employs green and low-carbon technologies, coordinating urban renewal with the expo park’s development. It emphasizes public participation, with citizens invited as co-builders.

Over 600 events are scheduled, featuring four main themes: ecological empowerment, cultural revitalization, industrial upgrading and international dialogue, creating new scenarios blending the expo with tourism, youth, daily life and technology.
Since its trial operation began on February 14, the main venue, the Wenzhou Garden Expo Park, has received over 2.18 million visits, averaging 40,000 daily.

The opening day of the expo saw the release of the “Wenzhou Declaration,” advocating for people-centered urban development, environmental protection and exploring a Chinese path to building modern cities for the people.
