Ingredients:
- Beef – 2 kg
- Milk – 2 liters
- Ginger paste – 2 tbsp
- Garlic paste – 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder – 1 tsp
- Green chili paste – 1 tsp
- Coriander powder – 1 tbsp
- White pepper powder – 1 tsp
- Salt – to taste
- Oil – ½ cup
- Chopped onions – 1 cup
- Fried onions (beresta) – 3 tbsp
- Yogurt – ½ cup
- Dried plums (alu bukhara) – 6–7 pieces
- Cinnamon sticks – 4 pieces
- Black cardamoms – 2
- Green cardamoms – 6
- Cloves – 7–8
- Bay leaves – 2
- Sugar – 2 tsp
- Ghee – 3 tbsp

Instructions:
- Boil 1 liter of milk until it reduces and thickens. Set aside.
- Wash the beef and drain well.
- Marinate the beef with yogurt, oil, chopped onions, whole garam masala (cinnamon, cardamoms, cloves, bay leaves), and all other spices. Let it sit for an hour.
- After marination, place the beef on the stove and start cooking.
- When the gravy reduces, add dried plums and pour hot water little by little, sautéing in between until the meat is well-browned and oil separates.
- Now add the remaining 1 liter of milk and cook over medium heat until the beef is tender and fully cooked.
- When the gravy thickens again, add the thickened milk, ghee, fried onions (beresta), sugar, and a little garam masala powder.
- Mix well, cook for a couple more minutes, and remove from heat.
