Method:
- Prepare the custard:
- Mix powdered milk, custard powder, egg yolk, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
- Heat while stirring continuously until it thickens.
- Remove from heat and let it cool.
- Prepare the cream mixture:
- Beat the whipped cream using a beater.
- Once the custard cools, gently mix it with the whipped cream.
- Prepare the layers:
- Cut strawberries and vanilla cake into small pieces.
- Dissolve 15g of strawberry jelly powder in hot water.
- Assemble the trifle:
- Pour a layer of strawberry jelly into a serving dish.
- Add a layer of the custard-cream mixture.
- Place the cake pieces and strawberry slices on top.
- Add another layer of the cream mixture.
- Serve:
- Chill in the refrigerator for a while before serving.
