Strawberry Trifle Recipe

Ingredients:

  • For the custard:
    • 1 cup powdered milk
    • 1 tbsp custard powder
    • 3 tbsp sugar
    • 1 egg yolk
    • ½ cup water

Coconut Crème Brûlée – A Tropical Twist on a Classic Dessert

  • For layering:
    • ½ cup whipped cream
    • 1 cup vanilla cake, cut into small pieces
    • 50g strawberry jelly powder
    • 15-20 fresh strawberries

Method:

  1. Prepare the custard:
    • Mix powdered milk, custard powder, egg yolk, sugar, and water in a saucepan.
    • Heat while stirring continuously until it thickens.
    • Remove from heat and let it cool.
  2. Prepare the cream mixture:
    • Beat the whipped cream using a beater.
    • Once the custard cools, gently mix it with the whipped cream.
  3. Prepare the layers:
    • Cut strawberries and vanilla cake into small pieces.
    • Dissolve 15g of strawberry jelly powder in hot water.
  4. Assemble the trifle:
    • Pour a layer of strawberry jelly into a serving dish.
    • Add a layer of the custard-cream mixture.
    • Place the cake pieces and strawberry slices on top.
    • Add another layer of the cream mixture.
  5. Serve:
    • Chill in the refrigerator for a while before serving.
