7 Things Not to Microwave!

Microwave ovens are unmatched for cooking in a hassle-free way as well as heating up food quickly. The microwave is also useful for making all kinds of fun baking items. But if you give the wrong food or the wrong thing, the device will become dangerous. If we want to avoid a situation like a sudden fire accident, we have to be aware. Besides, many times the wrong food gets spilled and the oven gets damaged.

Find out which things should never be microwaved.

  • Do not put aluminum foil in the microwave. It is made of very thin metal which creates sparks in the radiation of the oven. As a result, there is a risk of the microwave getting damaged or catching fire.
  • Many Taijas have shiny gold or silver borders. Do not put them in the microwave. These ingredients spark in the oven.
  • Do not give stainless steel flowers. When such dishes are placed inside the microwave, they do not allow radiation to enter the container and reflect the heat.
  • Never put thin plastic bottles or one-time-use plastic bowls, plates or glasses in the oven. Such thin plastic melts easily.
  • Do not microwave water. Overheated water can cause accidents due to the slightest carelessness.
  • Do not hard boil whole eggs in the microwave. In this, smoke accumulates in the egg and the egg comes out strong.
  • According to the Journal of the Science of Food and Agriculture, microwaving broccoli destroys nutrients.
