Burir Hat Jame Mosque, Shariyatpur

Burir Hat Jame Mosque is situated at Bhedorganj Upazila in the Shariatpur district. This Islamic architectural wonder was built around hundred years ago and the tower of this mosque is the main attraction, which was later built in the 80s. It is designed with starry and floral patterns. The main mosque is wide in shape and white in color. Colorful stone crafts, patterned designs, and gorgeous artworks glorify its beauty. Inside the mosque, the walls are decorated with light pink and ornamental designs. The calligraphic formation can be observed on the walls.

 Ambarella Garden, Barisal

Ambarella grows in Bangladesh during the monsoon season. This tangy fruit is much loved here in this country and the biggest garden can be found in Swarupkathi of Barisal. Here is a road to have a short walk through the garden and both sides of the road are filled with Ambarella trees. Some are very big and some are medium in size. The whole area is covered with greenish beauty and natural calmness. When the wind blows, the beauty intensified and anybody can submerge into the magnificent sunrays coming through the tree.

BukBhora Haor, Jessore

BukBhora Haor, this water basin truly reflects its name, which means, a heart filled with water. It is situated in Jessore and on the bank of this basin, cultivation is going on all around the year. People also use it for waterway communication and boatmen move passengers from one place to another. It is a great place to catch fish and there is an influx of fishermen during the rainy season. There are some land and narrow ways in the Haor area, where the flock of ducks enjoyed a quality time. Water, cool air, and calmness are the main attractions, and this place never misses the chance to amaze the spectators.

Baitul Aman Jame Mosque, Barisal

Baitul Aman Jame Mosque of Barisal is one of the most expensive mosques in Bangladesh which is also known as Guthia masjid. It was established by renowned businessman Sarfuddin Ahmed in 2003. The mosque covered an area of over 14 acres. Its colorful outlook is eye-catching and the calligraphy artworks are truly captivating. Pink and bluish outlines also dominate the walls. The Detailed designs and structural beauty make it different from other big mosques. Inside, there are green pillars and well arrangements for offering prayers. Decorative lighting elements, ornamental decorations, and colorful windows are also seen along with a pond near the entrance gate. The pond is surrounded by various flowers and trees. Two artificial fountains have been installed at the entrance of the mosque.

Badha Ghat, Narail

Around a hundred years ago, Badha Ghat was built by some landlord aka Zamindar of Narail district which is situated near the bank of the Chitra River. Now, this ghat is used as a landing port for different types of vessels. The Ghat was built with an aesthetic structural design with white and red pillars. A red platform and the stairs enhance its outlook, and the greenish environment makes it worthy of a visit. A temple made of red bricks is adjacent to this port and there is a triangular dome on its top. A Hindu goddess’s face and the trident are at the peak of it. Both the Ghat and temple attract lots of tourists.

Bibi Begni Mosque, Bagerhat

Bibi Begani Mosque was built around the fifteenth century at Bagerhat. This square-shaped mosque was built with red brick and the pillars are bigger than usual in mosques of that time period. Curved doors and a round dome are also there. Simple ornamental design and artworks can be observed in its pillars and sequentially patterned circles are also curved in it. The inside of this mosque gives a mystic fervor. There are some controversies regarding the history of this mosque. Some believe that Bibi Begni was one of the wives of Khan Jahan Ali, and some doubt whether it is really a mosque or a grave of Bibi Begni.

Bir Sreshtho Noor Mohammad Complex, Narail

Noor Mohammad Sheikh is entitled to the highest national recognition “Bir Sreshtho”. He was honored with this title because of his heroic contribution to the Liberation War of Bangladesh in 1971. To honor the sacrifice and bravery of Noor Mohammad, this complex has been made at Noor Mohammad Nagar in Narail. A monument is also made here for his remembrance. The Authority has established a museum and library along with the monument. This place bears his memory and existence.

Jhapa Baor Floating Bridge, Jessore

Jhapa Baor Floating Bridge is located at Jhampa village in Jessore, built around 10 years ago, and is around a thousand feet long and 4 feet wide. A village corporation named  “Jhampa Village Development” made this bridge using 839 plastic drums, 800 iron angles 250 iron plates. It connects Jhampa village to Manirampur Upazila headquarters. This bridge starts from a higher point. Then gradually begins to float in the water. The bridge is an attractive leisure spot, and people can also enjoy some water rides. The skillful construction method makes this bridge a tourist attraction.

Joy Sagar Dighi, Sirajganj

Joy Sagar Dighi is situated at Raiganj in Sirajganj District. It was excavated in the ancient era. King Gopal Paul completed the excavation method. This dighi lies in the middle of four narrow lands. These lands are filled with natural beauty. White stem trees are the main attraction of this place. There are palm trees on the dighi shore. The dighi is the bathing place of crane birds and ducks. Rural beauty can be observed here. Village people’s lifestyle blends with it. Local people are also getting benefits from this dighi.

Khan Jahan Ali Mosque, Jessore

Khan Jahan Ali mosque is located at Abhaynagar in Jessore. It was built 500 years ago. Khan Jahan Ali established it. The square-shaped mosque is 25 feet high. There is a single dome on top of the mosque. Round pattern design defines the pillar’s beauty. Detailed ornamental artistry enhances its outlook. The prayer hall is entirely white. Bookshelves, minaret, and a showcase are serially placed here. Curved ancient design enhances the wall’s outlook. Gorgeous wall formations are exhibited on the roof. Natural beauty increases this mosque’s appearance.
