ডাকঘর এর সঞ্চয় স্কিম এর বিনিয়োগসীমা তিন ভাগের দুই ভাগ কমিয়ে দেওয়া হয়েছে। মধ্যবিত্ত, অবসরপ্রাপ্ত চাকরিজীবী ও নারীরাই সাধারণত এ স্কিমের আওতায় আমানত রাখেন। অর্থ মন্ত্রণালয়ের অভ্যন্তরীণ সম্পদ বিভাগ (আইআরডি) আজ বৃহস্পতিবার এ বিষয়ে একটি প্রজ্ঞাপন জারি করেছে। প্রজ্ঞাপনে অবশ্য তারিখ দেওয়া রয়েছে ২০ মে এবং ওই দিন থেকেই তা কার্যকর। প্রজ্ঞাপনে বলা হয়েছে, এখন থেকে ডাকঘর সঞ্চয় কর্মসূচিতে একক নামে বিনিয়োগ করা যাবে ১০ লাখ টাকা পর্যন্ত, যা আগে ছিল ৩০ লাখ টাকা পর্যন্ত। আর যুগ্ম নামে বিনিয়োগের ঊর্ধ্বসীমা আগে ছিল ৬০ লাখ টাকা। এখন সেটি কমিয়ে ২০ লাখ টাকা পর্যন্ত করা হয়েছে। জানতে চাইলে আইআরডি সচিব আবু হেনা মো. রহমাতুল মুনিম বলেন, ‘এই সঞ্চয় স্কিম নিম্ন আয়ের মানুষের জন্য। অন্য সঞ্চয় স্কিমের সুদ হার কমে যাওয়ায় সবাই এমনকি অনেক প্রতিষ্ঠানও এখানে অর্থ জমা করছে। ফলে ব্যাংকগুলোতে অর্থপ্রবাহ কমে গেছে।’ স্কিম...
