Various Uses of Glycerin For Skin

There is never any fear of dry skin when using glycerin. Glycerin is very beneficial for keeping skin healthy, especially during the winter season. Glycerin can be applied directly to the skin or mixed with cosmetic products. Apart from this, glycerin can be used to control skin problems like cold sores and psoriasis. Now, let’s learn how to use it.

  • As a moisturizer: Glycerin can be used on the skin as a moisturizer. It works well for dry and dull skin. Apply glycerin directly to the skin using cotton. It will make the skin smooth and soft.
  • For skin cleansing: Glycerin mixed with rose water can be used for skin cleansing. Cleanse the skin with this mixture regularly before going to bed at night. Additionally, you can use it as a toner.
  • In combination with moisturizer: Glycerin can also be mixed with your daily moisturizer to retain skin moisture. You can also add glycerin to face packs or masks. Regular use keeps the skin healthy and fresh.
  • For hand and foot care: Glycerin can be used for hand and foot care. Take a few drops of glycerin, warm it in your palms, and apply it to your hands and feet. Use this for a few days to remove roughness.
  • In face wash: To wash the face, mix two drops of glycerin with your face wash and then apply it to the face before rinsing off. This will prevent the skin from drying out.
  • For chapped lips: Glycerin can be used to remove chapped lips. Apply glycerin to the lips in the morning upon waking up and at night before going to bed.
  • For hair care: Dry weather can make hair rough. Instead of shampooing, apply glycerin to the hair and leave it for a while before washing it off. You will notice the difference yourself.
