Toothache is now a very common physical condition. It is basically a mild or intense pain that occurs in or around a tooth. There could be a variety of reasons for a toothache. Such as tooth decay, an abscessed tooth that is a bacterial infection inside the tooth, tooth fracture, a damaged filling, infected gums, eruption or removal of a tooth, etc. There are some home remedies for toothache.
In some cases, toothache can get better on Its own. Pain that is caused due to temporary gum irritation resolves within a few days. But some toothache can lead to very severe health conditions. Ice – The simplest home remedy to alleviate toothache is ice. Rubbing ice in the affected area will numb out the place and it will give instant comfort from the pain.
Garlic – Garlic has a lot of medicinal benefits and it is also proved to be helpful in toothache. Crushed garlic releases a chemical name Allicin which is a natural antibacterial agent. This chemical can kill bacterias that attack our teeth and give relief from the pain.
Saltwater – Gargle with salt water is known to be very helpful to cure toothache. A mixture of salt and lukewarm water is a natural disinfectant. It can heal swelling, infections, as well as remove food particles from our teeth.
