Hematuria : Symptoms, Diagnosis and Cure

Common people are not at all familiar with the term hematuria. Blood comes with urine in this disease. This is an early sign of malignancy. After that, the patient’s condition started to deteriorate rapidly. Cancer treatment can be very effective if detected at an early stage.

Hematuria i.e. blood in the urine for the first time, initially the patient thinks he has a urinary tract infection aka UTI or kidney stones. Many try to get rid of the problem by taking antibiotics or other drugs in the initial treatment which turns out to be very dangerous.

When the second bleeding occurs again, it is seen that the intensity of the disease has already increased a lot. Therefore, in these case, it is important to start treatment quickly without delay. Because if the cancer spreads a lot then there is no other way except chemotherapy and radiotherapy.

The diagnosis of these diseases is delayed due to the negligence of the patients. A major reason for this is that discussing or consulting urology or urination is socially uncomfortable for many even in this modern age.

Diagnosis of Hematuria

For the diagnosis of hematuria, the urologist may suggest a CT scan or other tests depending on the patient’s physical condition. Early detection of kidney cancer can often save the patient’s life by removing half of the kidney or removing one kidney. As a result, the patient recovered even with one kidney.

But if the disease is not diagnosed in time, the problem can increase if the cancer spreads outside the kidney. It can even lead to death of the patient if it gets out of control. Many times patients come to the hospital with symptoms of bleeding with urine. Then, after the initial examination, the doctor can check if there is a possibility of cancer by performing tests like USG and cystoscopy.

After that a board is formed with medical oncologists and the treatment method is fixed considering the condition of the patient.

Treatment of Hematuria

If hematuria is confirmed, administration of BCG vaccine or chemotherapeutic drugs into the bladder or urinary bladder may be necessary. If a tumor is found in the bladder, it can be removed through surgery.

In most cases, this disease is caused by smoking. Again, due to genetic reasons or men working in textile factories are more likely to develop blood cancer. In this case, this problem is eliminated by USG hysterectomy. Robotic lungproscopic surgery is also performed to remove tumors in the bladder. An alternative bladder implant is then considered.
