Ayurvedic foods for Healthy Brain

It is normal to suddenly forget something. However, if important things are frequently forgotten, it becomes a medical condition. For this, we want to give regular training to the brain. And in this work there are Ayurvedic instructions.

Nuts

A thousand-year-old Ayurvedic treatment also says—put some special nuts in your brain food menu every day. The list includes walnuts, soaked almonds, raisins, ghee, olive oil, dates. Some other brain-healthy foods are—lentils, beans, and cheese. According to Ayurveda, cumin seeds open some ‘channels’ inside our brain and black pepper creates ‘medha agni’ in the brain.

Herbs

According to Ayurveda, Thankuni, Ashwagandha and Bacopa Lata act as memory boosters. They also work to increase the three powers of the brain—Dhi, Dhriti and Memory.

Oxygen

The brain needs an uninterrupted supply of oxygen. But oxidative stress is also created in the brain. I want to reduce that with some special anti-oxidant rich foods. Pink and red fruits and vegetables (such as watermelon and tomatoes) are rich in antioxidants. They reduce oxidative stress by destroying free-radicals in the brain.

Tea

Dehydration can also develop in the brain. According to Ayurvedic experts, drinking certain herbal teas can compensate for brain water deficiency. These include hing, turmeric, ajwan and tulsi tea.
